I've officially been at my job for a year now. It was a fast year too. My CEO sent me an email today congratulating me on my first year and thanking me for my contributions. Granted he probably has no idea what I have actually done but just has the general knowledge of what my department does, but it still made me feel good.
My job isn't always fantastic, but the company itself is a great place to work. The flexibility, my boss and most of the people I work with are all positives. Overall I am a much happier person than I was last winter.
